RSI provides audio video installation and automation to single family homes and residences throughout Colorado and beyond.

Denver Hilltop Residence

RSI worked with the homeowners' and their builder to provide communications infrastructure, distributed audio, distributed high-definition video, lighting control, climate control, keyless access, a security system, a camera and intercom at the front door, surround sound zones and a dedicated home theater as part of an extensive remodel on this Hilltop home. The homeowner's can select from a variety of centralized A/V sources to watch or listen to throughout their home, including satellite receivers, iPod docking stations, and a media server that allows them to view movie and album covers on their TV's when making their selections; and many of the home's lighting scenes and other electronic conveniences have been automated for their Sabbath and religious holidays. With the push of a single button they can arm their security system, turn off all of their lights, turn off all of their A/V equipment and relax the set points on their thermostats by 5* to help conserve energy when leaving the home.

Denver DU Area Residence

RSI worked with this homeowner, who is an interior designer, and her husband, to set up a lower level media room for watching movies and sporting events in surround sound, to give them the ability to listen to music in six other areas of their home, to install a flat screen TV over their living room fireplace (which was connected to the A/V sources in their lower level media room to avoid clutter in the living room), and to make the operation of these systems easy and intuitive. Because the home is often used for meetings with existing and potential clients, the focus on the aesthetics of the system was especially important. Centennial Residence

The homeowner is a do-it-yourselfer who takes great pride in his ability to research and find deals on products. He had purchased all of the components for a surround sound system for his great room, but needed assistance retrofitting wire through the walls for the speakers, installing the speakers and components and calibrating the system. The homeowners were so pleased with the quality of our work that they wrote a letter to compliment our staff and asked us to propose a solution to make the surround system easier to use by replacing all of the remotes with a single custom programmed remote, and to replace their existing security system.

Littleton Residence

The homeowners were updating and adding to their back deck and patio. Their initial interest was in adding a weatherproof flat panel TV and adding landscape "rock" speakers to the patio for entertaining. Once they saw the power of the solutions RSI could provide, they also had us simplify the control of their great room media system (it previously required multiple remotes to operate it and not all family members were adept at it), upgrade their children's gaming and media system in the lower level, and assist them with selling some of their older electronics on eBay.

Broomfield Residence

The homeowner had recently purchased a new town home in Broomfield, which did not have the necessary wiring infrastructure for surround sound in his media room or to allow him to centralize the A/V components for his other TV's. We worked closely with him to present a palette of solutions and their approximate costs and then to refine this into a cost-effective solution that allowed him to solve his immediate needs while providing a platform for his future wants; which included such things as adding and integrating lighting control, climate control, security and a media server for music and movies. He was so pleased with our work that he wrote a letter complimenting our staff and has acted as a reference for several potential Clients.

Snowmass Village Residence

The homeowner is an interior designer. She and her husband were in the process of remodeling a dual use condo in Snowmass Village; the condo is both for their family's use and as a short term rental property during ski season. It was important to them to be able to have a TV and surround sound audio system while hiding the speakers, electronics and TV to give the condo a more rustic feel when the system was not in use. It was also important that the system be extremely easy and intuitive to operate for their guests and renters. To watch TV one simply presses a single button on their single remote and the custom artwork in the painting above the fireplace scrolls up to reveal a 55" LCD TV and a left/center/right channel sound-bar speaker. The TV then displays a variety of options that can be chosen using the single remote including: getting the current weather conditions and forecast, watching TV or a blu-ray movie, listening to the stock digital music collection (which can be browsed by cover art and playlist), and selecting the iPod docking station so guests can listen to their own music. The rear surround speakers and subwoofer are in-wall models with the grilles painted to match the walls, which makes them virtually disappear.

Crestmoor Park Area Residence

The homeowners were taking on an extensive remodel with a nationally renowned Cherry Creek builder when we were contacted by the builder to prewire the home. Electronic systems were not accounted for in the construction budget, but after seeing the possibilities the homeowners were excited by the possibility of incorporating several of RSI's solutions in their home, but concerned about the un-budgeted costs. Because RSI works directly with a variety of manufacturers and distributors we have multiple avenues available to us for each of our solutions. We worked closely with the owners to find the right product and feature mix to provide the right solutions for their family while respecting their budget constraints. They were so happy with the surround sound, distributed audio, lighting control and security solutions that we designed and installed for them that they contracted with us to proved the A/V solution for their downtown Denver office.
